Installing Android Studio and Emulator on Google Cloud Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (Focal Fossa).

Your instance is named myandroidstudio
sudo snap install android-studio --classic

Set up a firewall rule to allow RDP in your instance

  1. Navigate to VPC networks > Firewall.
  2. Click Create a firewall rule.
  3. Choose a name and target tag for the firewall rule, and set allowed protocols and ports to tcp:3389
  4. Save the firewall rule.
  5. Navigate to VM instances > Edit VM > Networking.
